The Grand Junction Arms is a landmark canalside pub at Bulbourne just outside Tring. With vast gardens outdoor bars and a fresh food reputation summers here are massive and were reopening with a fresh start. This is a rare opportunity to take on a flagship pub from day one build the team in your own image and put your stamp on the food drink and service.
Were an independent pub group with a proper food and drink focus. We run pubs the right way fresh food great drinks and managers who have the freedom to make their site their own. And were growing which means progression rewards and real ownership for the people who help us get there.
Whats in it for you
Salary: base depending on experience
Bonus: Up to 7% of site EBIT
Loyalty Pot: Up to 15000 over 5 years with pay-outs at years 3 and 5

What youll be doing
Delivering impeccable service standards and memorable guest experiences
Inspiring training and developing your team
Working closely with the Head Chef to drive a brilliant food offer
Creating events developing menus and working with suppliers
Driving sales and profit through strong financial and commercial management
Recruiting motivating and retaining a high-performing team
What were looking for
A proven General Manager with experience running a high-volume food-led pub (this isnt a first appointment)
A natural leader who loves people and knows how to get the best from them
High standards attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality
Strong financial skills and a track record of growing sales and profit
Creativity ideas and the energy to make a pub truly great
