The Senior Vendor Management Professional is a key contributor to Humanas CenterWell Rx Education strategy responsible for cultivating high-performing vendor partnerships that support member engagement operational excellence and scalable growth. This role ensures vendors deliver consistent value through aligned goals strong governance and proactive relationship management. The Vendor Manager will serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners driving accountability innovation and performance across the vendor ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strategic relationships with vendor partners to ensure alignment with Humanas mission and business objectives.
Lead vendor governance routines to include performance reviews business planning sessions and executive-level reporting.
Monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations and service level expectations identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g. Operations Compliance Finance Training) to ensure vendor solutions meet evolving business needs.
Support vendor onboarding ramp planning and capability development to ensure readiness and scalability.
Partner with Procurement and Legal teams to support contract negotiations renewals and compliance reviews.
Contribute to strategic initiatives including RFP development cost optimization and member experience enhancements.
Represent CenterWell Rx Education in enterprise-wide vendor forums and cross-functional workstreams.
Required Qualifications
Based in Florida with ability to travel to vendor sites as needed (Domestic and international).
Three (3) or more years of experience in vendor management strategic sourcing and/or business operations.
Experience with tracking and analyzing Profit and Loss (P&L) statements on vendors/clients.
Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to manage complex partnerships and drive performance outcomes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with comfort engaging senior stakeholders.
Proficiency in business reporting tools and performance dashboards.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical experience with analytical and data visualization tools preferably in Excel and Power BI.
Experience performing data analysis and/or trends analysis.
Bachelors degree in Business Healthcare Administration or related field.
Experience in healthcare pharmacy operations or payer environments.
Familiarity with vendor governance frameworks and contract lifecycle management.
Experience with performance metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Lean Six Sigma and/or the project management experience.
