Description - Loan Servicing & Settlement Administrator for Servicing & Settlement Teams: Duties may include: Processing incoming and outgoing paperwork including mail and facsimiles; support client service associates and operational personnel; checking inbound client documents for accuracy notating all activities on the account and submitting accurate forms for final processing to service centre; make outbound contact both in writing and verbally with clients concerning paperwork. Requires ability to define and prioritize project activities and follow-up on project progress; strong written and verbal communication skills strong working knowledge and proficiency in the appropriate computer programs such as MS Word and database input is essential knowledge of financial services field. Must be able to learn quickly and to engage in a number of detailed tasks at once. Must have strong flexibility in regard to the duties assigned and problem-solving skills be able to work independently. Responsibilities includes cash reconciliation LIQ accrual management following up with external agent to secure delinquent payment. Responsibilities will also include internal metrics reporting and reconciliations
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily loan lifecycle servicing & settlement transactions along with cash reconciliation within a dynamic portfolio of lending and trading positions supported by domestic and international based resources.
- Ensure that loan servicing & settlement transactions are processed accurately in Loan IQ and Cash breaks are investigated & reconciled appropriately.
- Review of legal documentation related to credit facilities where applicable (Credit Agreements Amendments & Waivers etc.).
- Work with the Business Unit (BU) Financial Controllers (FCG) Global Capital Markets (GCM) Leveraged Acquisition Finance (LAF) Lending Joint Venture (LJV) and other internal teams on issues.
Qualifications - External
- 5 years of financial services operations experience required
- 2 years of syndicated/corporate loan experience strongly preferred
- Loan IQ experience strongly preferred
- Must be proficient in MS Office products including Word Excel Power Point and Outlook
- Must be proficient in documenting procedures and process flows
- Must be willing to work overtime during seasonal volume spikes
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload for junior staff
- Ability to multi-task and manage tight deadlines
