WHAT YOULL BE DOING
The Compliance Function ensures that the firm complies with applicable laws regulations as well as internal policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct independent reviews of processes and controls regarding investments (WpHG) anti-money laundering (GWG) and complaints
- Collaborate with internal teams in obtaining relevant information regarding processes and controls
- Research our internal systems to gather relevant evidence for samples checks
- Apply SQL queries in Snowflake to gather data
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- Enrolled or completed a university degree (economics business studies law computer science mathematics physics humanities or other relevant fields)
- Highly motivated to learn about regulatory requirements / Compliance in the financial industry
- Initial experience in financial services or advisory would be an advantage
- Interest in banking finance capital markets and their regulatory frameworks
- Independent working attitude with adherence to deadlines
- Effective communication skills dedication and strong organisational abilities
- Proactive with an open-minded attitude unafraid of new challenges
