Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning
- Develop and maintain production plans based on demand forecasts and capacity analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and adjust material plans as necessary.
- Provide updated material planning information to support production scheduling.
- Analyze production capacity vs. forecast and identify volume shortfalls.
- Manage Production Work Orders (PWO) in alignment with the production plan.
- Monitor production output vs. plan and escalate issues as needed.
Raw Material Planning
- Manage material inventory to ensure optimal levels and availability.
- Analyze demand forecasts and plan material requirements accordingly to meet production schedules.
- Establish and monitor inventory levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts while minimizing excess inventory.
- Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to align material supply with production needs and delivery schedules.
- Utilize data analysis to control inventory material usage and supplier performance.
- Generate regular reports on forecast inventory status material requirements and any issues affecting supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Sciences Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning procurement or supply chain preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint PowerBi).
- Fluency in Thai and English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Competencies:
Technical & Analytical
- Strong production and material planning skills with the ability to balance demand forecasts and capacity constraints.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel PowerPoint PowerBi) for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to analyze inventory material usage and supplier performance to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Problem-solving skills to identify bottlenecks and propose practical solutions.
Self-Leadership & Adaptability
- Takes ownership of production and material planning responsibilities.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
- Open to learning and adapting to changes in demand supply or process improvements.
Business Awareness
- Understands the impact of planning decisions on production efficiency inventory costs and overall supply chain performance.
- Ensures alignment of material planning with business goals and production requirements.
