About the Role
Kaseya is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to build the new Backup product.
As a Senior Engineer youll take ownership of your code and collaborate with a skilled team of developers QA engineers and DevOps professionals. Youll be recognized not only for delivering robust high-performance services but also for actively driving improvements in product quality and engineering processes.
This is a role for engineers who thrive in fast-moving agile environments embrace accountability and are eager to work on systems that require performance reliability and scale.
Were Looking for Someone With:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 5 years of experience in backend development with one or more of the following: PHP
- Proven proficiency in API design and development (RESTful services Swagger/OpenAPI microservices architecture)
- Ability to write modular reusable unit and integration tests maintaining high code coverage
- Strong understanding of SQL databases PostgreSQL or similar
- Hands-on experience with Docker containerization Kubernetes GIT/GitHub
- Design patterns data structures and algorithms in real-world use
- English at B2 - You should feel comfortable using English daily in daily meetings documentation and written communication.
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP or similar)
-Familiarity with the filesystems and services in Linux
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus Grafana ELK
- Experience provisioning infrastructure with Terraform and managing Kubernetes applications with Helm
What Youll Do:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodology
- Design build and maintain secure scalable and performant microservices and APIs
- Resolve reported defects efficiently while delivering features that delight users
- Drive and uphold best practices in code quality security performance and maintainability
- Contribute to code reviews documentation and mentoring within the engineering team
