ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

- Pay Considerations The salary range for the position is $75372.20 - $121323.19. Starting salary is dependent on education qualifications and experience. The selected candidate for this position will start at the beginning of the salary range no exceptions.
- Work Schedule This position is scheduled to work 4 days per week 9 hours per day Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 6:00pm.
THE ROLE
Under general supervision performs analytical administrative and development duties required to support the Citys web and desktop applications that utilize SQL Server and/or Oracle Databases with technologies. Coordinates responsibilities with supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Management Information Systems Engineering Mathematics or a closely related field and four years of developer experience with knowledge skills and experience required to include coding and troubleshooting interfaces and extensions of an Enterprise Application running on Oracle or SQL Server Database. A minimum of two years developing in C#.Net and PL/SQL languages is required. Enterprise Applications are those that service multiple departments and have a user base exceeding 25 concurrent users.
- Equivalency: May substitute a combination of equivalent education and experience to obtain the 8- year education and experience requirement. The city assesses 1 year of full-time experience as equivalent to one year of education.
G.E.D may be substituted for high school diploma.
Licenses and Certifications
- NCIC Certification required within six months of hire/reclassification.
- Failure to obtain and maintain this certification will result in non-confirmation of appointment.
- Must possess a valid state drivers license and maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record with the ability to obtain appropriate Nevada state drivers license within required time frame.
- Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) Certification preferred.
SELECTION PROCESS
- Complete Online Application - Interested candidates MUST submit a completed application through the Citys application system. Evaluation of meeting requirements will be made solely on information provided on the application and any required attachments.
- The selection process will begin with a screening of the application/resume - The best qualified candidates will be invited to participate in the assessment process. The selection process will include (dates to be determined).
- Oral Board Interview - (Weighted 100% Passing Score 70%).
- Pre-Employment Screening Selected candidates for this position are subject to a pre-employment screening which includes but is not limited to local & state criminal history check; federal criminal history checks via submission of fingerprints; and drug screening.
