Team Lead - Environmental & Employee Health and Safety

Position Summary:

The purpose of this role is to ensure that the best safety standards are followed in the organization and the certification of ISO.

Work Youll Do:

• Internalizing EHS Policy and strengthening safety culture through motivational & awareness programs safety campaigns and training.
• Responsible for safety & environmental compliance with local & state requirements.
• Compliance with ISO 9001 and 14001 management systems and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Manage fire safety and environmental compliance as per various statutory guidelines.
• Plan & perform safety visits safety audits (internal & external) and collaborate with concerned departments for corrective actions.
• Ensure timely liaison with government and statutory authorities for managing any queries/compliance.
• On-site emergency preparedness and periodic mock drills.
• Responsible for Security Management.
• Monitor and ensure effective documentation related to EHS systems procedures and practices.

Team:

This role will be a leading role in the EHS Department.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Industrial hygiene and safety post-graduate diploma in industrial safety with a minimum of 12 years

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in handling EHS in the Manufacturing / Engineering Unit.
