Your role at St John of God Health Care
You will be responsible for the overall coordination of the Informed Financial Consent (IFC) team and leading the broader Admissions service. You will ensure the delivery of a high performing and patient centric admissions service.
With a strong focus on service excellence and compassion you will engage with patients hospitals and external providers to enhance processes address challenges and support a sustainable service.
The Position
Lead and develop the Informed Financial Consent team ensuring patients are provided with clear timely and accurate information on their health fund cover and potential out-of-pocket costs.
Oversee the teams handling of complex queries relating to health fund contracts eligibility rules and patient billing.
Implement and maintain initiatives to promote and achieve a culture of service excellence and build a sustainable employee engagement and stakeholder satisfaction.
Develop and sustain positive internal and external relationships through communication and consultation.
Undertakes regular performance appraisals for all caregiver direct reports incorporating feedback from relevant stakeholders.
Manage caregiver rosters and annual leave calendar ensuring maintenance of effective service levels to balance workload and budgetary constraints including KPIs and Productivity.
Provide support to the team by responding to ad hoc queries and addressing investigating or escalating any issue that may arise.
You will have demonstrated understanding of administrative procedures patient management systems in an acute private hospital environment at a senior level with an ability to work cohesively and collaboratively across the Admission Service team and Call Centre to enhance efficiency quality and overall patient doctor and caregiver experience.

Salary $101492 to $110432 per annum plus 12% Superannuation
Permanent full time position working 38 hours per week
Located at Perth CBD Kings Square office
