Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Location: Dallas TX 75231
Duration: 13 weeks contract (extendable)
Shift: 5x8 Days (8:30 AM 5:00 PM)
Skills & Experience
Responsibilities
Prepare patients for exams and procedures.
Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures.
Collect and process specimens (blood urine etc.).
Administer medications and injections as directed.
Perform and record basic lab tests.
Sterilize equipment clean tools and maintain exam rooms.
Perform EKGs and other basic diagnostic tests.
Provide wound care (dressings suture removal).
Schedule patient appointments.
Update and chart patient information in medical records.
Assist with billing and insurance claims.
Handle phone calls and relay messages appropriately.
Educate patients on medications procedures and follow-up care.
Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality.
Record vital signs (BP temperature pulse etc.).
