JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
Registered Nurse Manager - Critical Care Unit
RN MGR - CCU
Full-Time
Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Critical Care Unit will have the following job responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and demonstrates responsibility and accountability for the delivery of safe quality patient care for assigned departments on a 24 hour basis. Ensures departments standard of nursing practice nursing policies and procedures meet legal and all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.
- Directs the continuity of care through demonstrated use of interdisciplinary team approach to patient care. Collaborates and shares pertinent patient information with physicians patients and other members of the healthcare team regarding patient progress and treatment.
- Develops and implements ongoing programs to measure monitor assesses and to improve quality of nursing care delivered to patients. Works toward hospital-wide improvement in meeting core measure patient safety and service excellence goals in assigned units.
- Ensures the effective coordination of the patients care with other services and departments throughout the hospital.
- Ensures provision of quality care and services by maintaining appropriate equipment and supplies.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS-
Registered Nurse Manager - Critical Care Unit

Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Critical Care Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
- 3 years of Recent (Within the last year) Acute Care leadership experience in the ICU.
- NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree
- (APRN) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or (RN) Registered Nurse
