Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with 1 years of experience in IR/Cath Lab settings to assist with pre-op evaluation intra-operative sedation/monitoring post-op recovery and inventory management. Procedures include lower extremity revascularization dialysis access treatment kyphoplasty IVC filter removal uterine fibroid embolization and various arterial and venous stenting/angioplasty.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with 1 years of experience in IR/Cath Lab settings to assist with pre-op evaluation intra-operative sedation/monitoring post-op recovery and inventory management. Procedures include lower extremity revascularization dialysis access treatment kyphoplasty IVC filter removal uterine fibroid embolization and various arterial and venous stenting/angioplasty.
Responsibilities:
Conduct patient intake IV placement moderate sedation administration and recovery using the centers information system.
Perform ongoing patient assessments covering physiologic psychosocial cultural spiritual and cognitive status.
Prioritize patient care based on needs and available resources.
Identify and address patient/family learning needs.
Delegate and coordinate duties with the healthcare team.
Apply safety principles and respond efficiently in emergencies.
Participate in performance improvement and nursing research initiatives.
Document and communicate patient care effectively via computerized systems.
Lift up to 50 lbs as required for patient care.

Qualifications:
Experience:
1 years as an IR/Cath Lab RN.
Minimum 2 years in a hospital setting.
At least 1 year in ICU OR ER IR recovery room or Cath Lab.

Education:
Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Graduate of an accredited RN program.
Training in interventional radiology nursing care.

Licenses & Certifications:
Active RN license in California.
BLS and ACLS certifications.
NIHSS certification.
Active RN license in California.
