Overview of the Role:

This Director position offers the opportunity to oversee comprehensive facilities operations at a state-of-the-art 73-bed acute care hospital ensuring safe efficient and compliant environments that support life-saving medical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of facilities operations and building maintenance
- Direct preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment reliability
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission OSHA NFPA and regulatory standards
- Coordinate capital improvement projects and renovations
- Oversee and develop multidisciplinary teams of technicians and maintenance staff
- Serve as key liaison with hospital administration for operational support
- Maintain emergency preparedness and safety initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Facilities Management or related field
- 5 years progressive leadership experience in healthcare facilities management
- Strong knowledge of Joint Commission OSHA NFPA regulations
- Proven experience managing capital projects and vendor relationships
- CHFM certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication problem-solving and leadership skills
