Director of Facilities Operations

Overview of the Role:
Join a dynamic healthcare environment where your leadership directly impacts patient care! This Director position offers the opportunity to oversee comprehensive facilities operations at a state-of-the-art 73-bed acute care hospital ensuring safe efficient and compliant environments that support life-saving medical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of facilities operations and building maintenance
  • Direct preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment reliability
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission OSHA NFPA and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate capital improvement projects and renovations
  • Oversee and develop multidisciplinary teams of technicians and maintenance staff
  • Serve as key liaison with hospital administration for operational support
  • Maintain emergency preparedness and safety initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Facilities Management or related field
  • 5 years progressive leadership experience in healthcare facilities management
  • Strong knowledge of Joint Commission OSHA NFPA regulations
  • Proven experience managing capital projects and vendor relationships
  • CHFM certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Excellent communication problem-solving and leadership skills
