About the Role:
This Project Manager role will fill the in support of more senior Project and Program Management provides an exciting career path into the Project Management family of jobs within the Abacus Client Delivery Program Management will have the opportunity to work on information technology projects within the US healthcare payer industry building powerful skills knowledge and experience for your career at the intersection of IT and will have the opportunity to gain this experience on projects where cutting edge cloud-based technologies are being deployed and within a dynamic and fast-growing company.
You Will:
- Lead scrum teams as the Scrum Master for client delivery projects driving sprint planning backlog grooming daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Serve as the central point of coordination between cross functional teams
- Support project scoping planning and timeline estimation with input from cross-functional stakeholders
- Monitor and report project progress risks and blockers
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of PMO standards tools and delivery frameworks.
- Mentor team members on Agile best practices and Abacus-specific workflows reinforcing a culture of accountability and adaptability.
- Take ownership of maintaining project documentation
- Provide other project management support duties as needed to program management.
What Were Looking For:
- 5 years professional experience in IT project management roles
- 1 years experience in Agile Methodologies
- Software development technology background in work experience and / or training
- Extremely good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong soft skills for intra-team relationship building
Bonus Points:
- US Healthcare experience with healthcare payer experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2 certification
- Certified Scrum Master
