Pro-Rata Salary Range of $143300k Base to $148k Base (dependent on experience skills and capabilities).Plus 12% Superannuation and access to Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging with a value of up to $15900. (more information provided below).

We are seeking an experience Operations Lead to drive excellence in project delivery and workforce planning for our Australian Project Operations team comprising over 100 staff. This hybrid leadership role encompasses two key focus areas:

  • Team and Project Oversight lead and support Senior Project Managers and Line Managers to ensure high quality project outcomes. Provide guidance on people management resourcing allocation and project delivery;
  • Workforce Planning and Resourcing develop forecasting models maintain resourcing plans and oversee recruitment activities to ensure optimal staffing across projects.

Skills Knowledge and Experience / Our Successful Candidate

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • At least 6 years experience in all aspects of complex clinical/research project operations in an academic or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Experience in workforce planning resource management or project resourcing.
  • Ability to develop modelling for resource planning.
  • Substantive experience leading project teams and/or line managing employees.
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead develop coach and mentor project team members.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence others.
  • Demonstrated clear interpersonal written and verbal communication skills able to communicate with various professions and on different levels.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to handle a wide range of stakeholders and changing priorities.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to see the big picture yet still focus on detail and quality of work.

Experience in a previous resource forecasting role will be considered highly desirable.
