Commercial Design-Build Project Manager

Overview: Our client is a well-established developer/builder specializing in commercial design-build projects across the Denver metro area. Our work spans light industrial office mixed-use and specialty facilities. Position Description: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Design-Build Project Manager to lead projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and problem-solver who can manage design budgets schedules and field coordination while building lasting relationships with clients subcontractors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage design-build projects from concept through completion ensuring quality safety schedule and budget goals are met.
Collaborate with design teams consultants and engineers to align design intent with constructability and cost efficiency.
Lead project budgeting estimating scheduling and value engineering during preconstruction.
Oversee subcontractor procurement contract negotiations and performance management.
Maintain proactive client communication providing updates and resolving issues.
Coordinate closely with superintendents and field staff to drive project execution.
Ensure compliance with local building codes permitting and safety standards.
Track project financials prepare reports and ensure profitability.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture or related field preferred.
5-10 years of experience in commercial construction project management (design-build experience strongly preferred).
Proven track record delivering projects $20M in size.
Strong knowledge of construction methods contracts scheduling software and cost management.
Excellent leadership communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
