Package Range: $108057- $128149. Package includes salary ($95630 - $113411) employers superannuation and annual leave loading (salary offered will be based on experience).

About the role

Were seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Carpentry students by joining our team of teachers on a permanent full-time basis located at Randwick Campus with travel to St George Campus required.

In this role you will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes. Proudly teaching Carpentry and Joinery. As a teacher you will lead students through a range of indoor and outdoor projects including roof wall and floor framing as well as site set-out cladding and other skills required for a successful Carpenter.

Essential Requirements:

Highly regarded but not essential:

This is a targeted recruitment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in accordance with Rule 26 of the Government Sector Employment (General) Rules 2014 - Employment of eligible persons. As such preference will be given to candidates who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. If no suitable candidate is found other applications may also be considered. Aboriginal candidates selected for an interview will be required to provide Confirmation of Aboriginality documentation at or before interview.

Paid to Learn: for candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course. Those who already hold the appropriate teaching qualification or equivalent are still eligible to apply.
