Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Hospitalist specializing in Internal this role you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to hospitals clinics and healthcare facilities. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring high-quality patient care and maintaining the smooth operation of healthcare institutions. As a Locum Hospitalist you will be involved in a variety of medical projects contributing to the well-being of patients and the overall healthcare system.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients.
- Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Monitor and manage patient progress and response to treatment.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely medical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and medical staff.
- Adhere to all relevant medical standards regulations and protocols.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Valid medical license and board certification in Internal Medicine.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to different work settings and schedules.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Schedule: 7a-7p
Patient Census: 14 per day
Small ICU
Procedures codes and rapid response required
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
