Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Coordination
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules using Excel and ERP systems.
- Track work orders monitor progress and adjust schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
Excel & Data Management
- Use Excel to create and manage production trackers pivot tables and performance dashboards.
- Analyze production data to identify trends delays and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of production output downtime and material usage.
Communication & Collaboration
- Serve as the communication hub between production engineering purchasing and logistics.
- Lead daily production meetings to align teams on goals updates and issues.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external vendors.
Quality & Process Improvement
- Ensure production processes meet quality standards and safety regulations.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Business or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in metal fabrication or heavy equipment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas pivot tables charts conditional formatting).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of dump body components and manufacturing processes is desirable.
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing floor and office environment.
- May require occasional lifting and physical activity.
- Overtime or weekend work may be needed to meet production goals.
