Description

As the Cage Player Services Supervisor at Cherokee Casino Fort Gibson you will lead a team to deliver a superior guest experience while maintaining the integrity and security of all financial transactions. You will be responsible for supervising staff resolving guest and employee issues and implementing operational efficiencies. This role requires a strong understanding of cash handling procedures excellent leadership skills and a commitment to upholding regulatory compliance.



Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct staff including scheduling training performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.

  • Complete job appraisals corrective actions and track attendance for the department.

  • Ensure strict compliance with all tribal federal state and local laws as well as company policies and procedures including Title 31 regulations.

  • Identify develop and implement process efficiencies to improve operations.

  • Creatively resolve guest and employee disputes escalating issues as needed.

  • Implement and oversee the casinos rewards program.

  • Compile and analyze daily weekly and monthly reports and paperwork.

  • Oversee ATM and kiosk cash levels complete staff closeouts and verify cash deposits.

  • Verify funds at the beginning and end of each shift.

  • Ensure currency transaction information is provided to applicable departments for reporting.

  • Write checks for winnings over set thresholds and distribute required paperwork.

  • Coordinate and audit operational and promotional inventory.

  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all casinos and guest information.



Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 1-3 years of cash handling and/or customer service experience.

  • Supervisory experience is preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of accounting gaming and regulatory requirements including Title 31.

  • Ability to lead mentor and advise a team effectively.

  • Strong written and verbal communication presentation and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

  • Well-developed money handling skills with a proven ability to maintain accuracy.

  • Advanced analytical and organizational skills.

  • Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.

  • Ability to stand sit or walk for prolonged periods and lift objects up to 50 lbs.

  • Availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
