Job Summary
This position makes gospel teachings resources or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way supporting the mission of the Church.
This position exists to develop the standard methods for all global production processes. Works closely with manufacturing product management process improvement engineers and sewing mechanic departments to develop and implement new methods evaluate current methods and revise standardized methods as needed.
This role is an intermediate level individual contributor role.
Responsibilities
40% Global manufacture process support and remote training through technology international implementation of new products and changes to existing products to maintain quality standards. Training within Industry - TWIJI JM and JR. Coordinating outsource manufacture contractor selection. Tech packs Product Kit Printed Marks and labels. Packaging. Analysis of efficiency issues and workflow. Root Cause Analysis. Travel for onsite Operational Review.
30% Creating writing analyzing and standardizing manufacturing processes. Use of Microsoft Suite software. SharePoint AX D365 and Flex.
20% Suggest pattern adjustments. Prototypes and analysis of manufacturing processes for mass production. Machinery specs (RPM SPI) Engineering (GSD SAM Job Class). Selection of Fabrics.
10% Translations. (Spanish Portuguese)
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience in a production related field or any combination of related education or experience.
- Knowledge of sewing requirements methods techniques and skills with ability to apply these to increase productivity.
- Solid math skills needed to analyze production control.
- Able to travel.
- Speak Spanish Portuguese and/or Tagalog.
- Able to lift 70 pounds with assistance.
- Endowed and temple worthy.
- Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Understand patterns make pattern adjustments. Experience with pattern making. Gerber trained preferred Flex PLM trained CAD trained. AX D365 knowledge.
Preferred:
- Experience working with personal computers and generating reports: spreadsheets databases trend analysis.
- Knowledge and/or experience of industrial sewing equipment and production line/piece rate work.
