Role Overview
Partnering with the Manager of Talent Acquisition you will lead student ambassadors and plan campus events to engage veterinary students. You will help grow MedVet by recruiting the next generation of veterinarians for our Emergency Clinician Mentorship and House Officer Training programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the MedVet Student Ambassador program including interviewing onboarding managing ambassadors and overseeing activities.
Host virtual group meetings with Student Ambassadors monthly (outside business hours) and meet individually to discuss program and event strategies.
Manage and attend recruiting events such as career fairs virtual events university visits and conferences.
Recruit and hire Emergency Clinician Mentorship Program (ECMP) candidates for regional openings.
Maintain and update databases of interns residents conference contacts and recruiting event attendees.
Use ATS CRM and other tools to maximize outreach and follow-up with candidates.
Attend virtual and in-person veterinary conferences job fairs and university events (2530% travel).
Conduct ECMP-related virtual happy hours outside business hours.
Develop reports on budgets program events sourcing and recruiting efforts.
Identify new recruiting opportunities and grow existing veterinary school and conference activities.
Qualifications
Required recruiting experience; campus recruiting and veterinary professional experience strongly preferred.
Management experience required.
Technologically proficient with ATS CRM and MS Office (Word Excel Outlook).
Excellent interpersonal communication and team collaboration skills as well as ability to influence cross-functional teams and work with senior-level staff.
Flexible organized and able to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Strong judgment attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Comfortable with 2530% travel for university and recruiting events.
