SUMMARY
The Associate Engineer will be responsible for the design development and maintenance of the data plate marking addition the Associate Engineer will print data plates to meet production requirements as well as use metrics data capture and root cause analysis to drive down data plate shortages.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Print data plates to meet production requirements.
Writes and maintains data plate marking work processes.
Documents standard workflow of data plates.
Conduct quality inspections on data plates.
Use metrics data capture and root cause analysis to drive down data plate shortages.
Comprehend and apply contract language in relation to data plates.
Perform general maintenance of data plate laser machines.
Provides technical support and assistance as a resource person in assigned areas or projects.
Plans schedules and prioritizes work to meet established deadlines.
Determines and improves processes to meet production levels
All other duties and responsibilities that are reasonably assigned by the employer or its designee.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree in a related field.
Internship experience or 6-plus months related work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Word and Excel.
Experience with BarTender and Error Proof Manager software.
Heavy equipment or automotive manufacturing experience.
Pay Range:
$56600.00 - $88400.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range individual pay is determined by various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role the candidates experience education and skills as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
