Data Engineer Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Design construct install test and maintain highly scalable data management systems
- Develop and implement databases data collection systems data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
- Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members
- Analyze large datasets to discover trends patterns and insights
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout all data processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with data modeling data warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python Java or Scala
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a data engineering role
- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark or Kafka
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Salary & Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from $85000 to $95000 annually with additional benefits such as health insurance paid time off and opportunities for professional development.
