Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated BSW LSW to join our team and provide therapeutic group services for children ages 38. In this role you will:

  • Create a safe engaging and supportive therapeutic environment for children.
  • Lead Group Day Treatment Psychoeducational sessions as the rendering provider.
  • Support treatment goals maintain accurate clinical documentation and work closely with the treatment team to achieve excellent outcomes.

Schedule

  • Variable hours between 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Monday through Friday
  • Flexibility to accommodate work-life balance

Compensation

  • $20 per completed note

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate therapeutic group sessions (2.5-hour blocks).
  • Maintain a safe structured and positive learning environment for children.
  • Implement the Positive Leaps model of care and curriculum to support clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to communicate progress and coordinate care.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with Ohio laws payer requirements and organizational policies.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills in managing classroom dynamics.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Social Work and active license (BSW LSW) required.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Passion for working with children ages 38.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically active setting and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

Work Environment & Considerations

  • Exposure to loud noise including frequent crying or screaming.
  • Potential for physical aggression from children in care.
  • Possible exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
