We are seeking a Vice President Head of Group Reporting to join our Group Finance team at our headquarters in this role you will lead the Group Reporting function which is responsible for consolidating monthly financial results from more than 50 reporting entities across the global COWI Group. You will manage and develop a team of six highly skilled specialists and deliver financial reporting and insights to COWIs Executive Management as well as to external stakeholders. As a member of the Group Finance leadership team you will collaborate closely with finance colleagues worldwide and report directly to the Senior Vice President Head of Group Finance.

Key responsibilities of the Group Reporting team and your role include:

  • Own and deliver the Groups consolidated financial statements in compliance with RL and local regulatory requirements and proactively contribute to the annual report process for the COWI Group and act as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly quarterly and year-end financial consolidation across the Group managing reporting cycles effectively. Uphold compliance with consolidation principles and continuously seek ways to improve reporting processes timelines and data quality.
  • Hold overall responsibility for the recurring financial reporting for the Group to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee. Drive high-quality insights that support the finance leadership team and executives.
  • Ensure group-wide adherence to accounting policies and controls. Maintain COWIs Group accounting policies and provide training as needed. Support reporting and integration of M&A activities.
  • Collaborate closely with People and Organisation colleagues to manage financial calculations forecasts and accruals for the Group bonus programme.
  • Lead timely and accurate accounting financial controlling and reporting of Danish entities and related branches.

On top of that you will have:

  • A masters degree in accounting auditing business administration or a related discipline
  • Leadership experience either in a functional or people management capacity
  • Strong background in financial management and accounting
  • Excellt communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear and meaningful insights
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken
  • In-depth expertise in Danish GAAP (RL)
