Responsibilities

    • Report directly to the Supervisor of Communications to ensure that operational activities related to company policies and procedures are followed.
    • Enter alphabetic numeric or symbolic data from source documents into the computer following format displayed on screen and enter necessary code to mail merge communications to members and physicians.
    • Organize and monitor client communications to ensure the correct cover letter and lab report are delivered.
    • Read incoming correspondence and gather data for program communications.
    • Review and approve new and updated client communications.
    • Provide communication and follow up to ensure team members are fully informed of all new information related to programs procedures customer needs and company related issues changes or actions.
    • Keep track of received data and outgoing communication source documents.
    • Prepare and sort source documents and identify and interpret data to be entered in a timely manner that complies with SLAs.
    • Contact preparers of source data to resolve questions inconsistencies or missing data.
    • File requisitions work orders or requests for materials tools or other stock items and keeps updated records for supervisors review.
    • Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities and completing mandatory training.
    • Taking on other tasks or projects to support employees other managers and call center operations.

Who You Are / Job Requirements

    • Education: Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Experience: 1-2 years of related experience
    • Healthcare experience is a plus

Skills & Abilities Required

    • Proficiency with necessary technology including computers software applications phone systems etc.
    • Familiar with company products services and policies.
    • 45WPM
    • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure especially during peak hours or intense situations.
