A leading company in the advanced manufacturing and technology sector is seeking an Inventory and Logistics Specialist. This role supports day-to-day inventory operations and shipping/receiving activities on-site. The specialist will help maintain material accuracy streamline storage and coordinate the movement of parts and assemblies across facilities to ensure smooth production and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily inventory tasks: receiving storing issuing kitting and cycle counting
Maintain traceability and accountability of materials in ERP systems
Support inbound shipments from suppliers and outbound logistics to customers test sites and operations
Follow established workflows for warehousing handling and shipping/receiving
Collaborate with supply chain production and quality teams to ensure timely material availability
Recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability in logistics processes

Details:

Job Requirements

Experience in inventory control warehousing or logistics operations
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and standard inventory practices
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced hands-on environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Background in aerospace defense automotive or advanced manufacturing industries
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools
Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations including hazardous materials
