We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Marketing Specialist Events and Media to manage Marmon Utilitys paid media trade events and communications programs. This role will focus on planning executing and measuring the impact of digital and print media campaigns webinars educational events industry trade shows and press releases. By executing targeted programs the Marketing Specialist will help strengthen the positioning of Kerite and Hendrix brands in the electric utility market and support Marmon Utilitys growth strategy.

Location: Seymour CT or Milford NH

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Paid Media & Digital Campaign Management

  • Manage paid advertising across digital media and social channels including campaign creative execution and lifecycle management.
  • Track performance metrics report results and recommend optimizations to maximize ROI.

Event Management & Operations

  • Plan and execute industry trade shows webinars and educational events.
  • Coordinate logistics project management and cross-departmental alignment.
  • Manage content and asset development for event-related needs.
  • Lead capture and validation ensuring accurate data is collected and shared with Sales.
  • Track and analyze post-event performance and feedback for continuous improvement.

Press & Communications

  • Draft manage and distribute press releases to reinforce brand positioning.
  • Partner with external agencies and media outlets to maximize reach and engagement.

Brand & Content Alignment

  • Ensure all paid campaigns events and communications align with Marmon Utilitys brand voice and positioning.
  • Partner with internal teams (sales product management operations) to support business objectives.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of B2B marketing experience with emphasis on paid media event management and communications.
  • Proven track record managing media budgets and measuring campaign performance.
  • Experience planning and executing trade shows or digital events.
  • Strong writing skills with ability to craft press releases and marketing content.
  • Audience-first mindset and collaborative spirit.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools including WordPress HubSpot Google Analytics Smartsheet Salesforce TypeForm and Canva.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
