You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a skilled Electronic Locksmith to install maintain and repair a variety of electronic and mechanical locking systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with access control systems keyless entry security hardware and traditional lock mechanisms ensuring the highest level of safety and security for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Install repair and maintain electronic locks access control systems keypads card readers and biometric locks.
Diagnose and resolve issues with both electronic and mechanical locking systems.
Perform routine inspections preventive maintenance and upgrades on security hardware.
Cut and duplicate keys re-key locks and configure master key systems as required.
Program and troubleshoot keyless entry and security control software.
Respond to emergency service requests including lockouts and system failures.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and security regulations.
Maintain accurate service records and provide clear documentation of work performed.
Communicate effectively with clients providing professional recommendations for improved security solutions.
Minimum 2 3 years of experience as a locksmith with a focus on electronic systems.
Strong knowledge of electronic access control systems CCTV integration and keyless entry technologies.
Proficiency with hand tools power tools and electronic diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals wiring diagrams and schematics.
Valid locksmith license/certification (where required by law).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment when required.
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to client sites.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and alarm/security integration.
Basic networking knowledge for connecting access control systems.
Certification from recognized lock/security hardware manufacturers is a plus.
