Job Description

Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Location: William Beaumont Army Medical Center Department of Behavioral Health 18511 Highland Medics St El Paso TX 79918

Work Schedule: Monday Friday(8-hour shifts not to exceed 40 hours per week)

Qualifications:

Education: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)-accredited program.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of clinical/treatment experience within the last 3 years or a masters-level clinical practicum.

  • Experience working in behavioral health settings with diverse populations.

License/Certification:

  • Current full active unrestricted license to practice as an LCSW in any U.S. state or territory.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Other Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients and families to determine treatment needs.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans addressing patient strengths needs and coping skills.

  • Provide counseling and psychotherapy to individuals couples families and groups.

  • Deliver crisis intervention services in urgent mental health situations.

  • Educate patients and families on coping strategies treatment plans and available resources.

  • Refer patients to appropriate community government or military support services.

  • Document patient interactions progress notes and treatment plans in AHLTA/MHS GENESIS in compliance with DoD standards.

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists psychologists nurses and technicians to ensure comprehensive behavioral health care.

  • Participate in case conferences peer reviews and interdisciplinary team meetings.

  • Provide consultation services to staff on psychosocial issues affecting patient health and compliance with treatment.
