Job Description
Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Location: William Beaumont Army Medical Center Department of Behavioral Health 18511 Highland Medics St El Paso TX 79918
Work Schedule: Monday Friday(8-hour shifts not to exceed 40 hours per week)
Qualifications:
Education: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)-accredited program.
Experience:

At least 2 years of clinical/treatment experience within the last 3 years or a masters-level clinical practicum.

Experience working in behavioral health settings with diverse populations.
License/Certification:
-
Current full active unrestricted license to practice as an LCSW in any U.S. state or territory.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Other Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Responsibilities:
-
Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients and families to determine treatment needs.

Develop individualized treatment plans addressing patient strengths needs and coping skills.

Provide counseling and psychotherapy to individuals couples families and groups.

Deliver crisis intervention services in urgent mental health situations.

Educate patients and families on coping strategies treatment plans and available resources.

Refer patients to appropriate community government or military support services.

Document patient interactions progress notes and treatment plans in AHLTA/MHS GENESIS in compliance with DoD standards.

Collaborate with psychiatrists psychologists nurses and technicians to ensure comprehensive behavioral health care.

Participate in case conferences peer reviews and interdisciplinary team meetings.

Provide consultation services to staff on psychosocial issues affecting patient health and compliance with treatment.
