Job Summary
Air Kraft Division is seeking Aerospace Field Representative with aerospace industry experience for an opportunity in: Chihuahua Chihuahua. Contract Type: Temporary Project (Approx. 2 months)
Schedule: 2nd shift support during weekdays; 1st shift support on Saturdays and Sundays
Mision:
Participates in on-site supplier assessments to identify supplier capability and to support OEM procurement strategy.
Your challenges:
- Evaluates overall supplier health and resources to determine viability.
- Identifies problems develops recovery plans and monitors supplier performance-to-plan to ensure compliance to contractual requirements.
- Identifies improvement opportunities to enhance supplier capability.
- Provides or recommends training and mentoring on business and manufacturing practices to improve or enhance supplier delivery performance.
- Monitors activities to ensure that suppliers produce conforming and compliant products on time.
- Monitors emergent offload or overload suppliers and provides technical assistance to ensure delivery schedule compliance and product conformity.
- Identifies establishes and maintains priorities for deliveries of products services and data. Communicates across functions to report status and concerns.
- Oversees work movement projects by verifying that the elements of the work plan are credible and complete in order to accomplish a seamless transition.
- Conducts on-the-job and recurrent training for suppliers to ensure they can effectively produce and deliver on quality and on time the products.
- Acts as a primary point of contact on-site communicating suppliers issues program status and trends to OEM including product support and program management.
Your boarding pass:
- Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to read schematics engineering drawings and interpret technical data.
- Aviation Experience: Experience with aircraft manufacturing processes or related fields is often required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with suppliers
- Adaptability: Capable of working unsupervised for extended periods in diverse environments.
