- 5 years of experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in Scala with a solid understanding of functional programming principles.
- Proficiency in Python for backend and data processing workflows.
- Familiarity with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing (deep expertise not required).
- Proven experience with Kubernetes and AWS (EKS EMR S3).
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and data architecture.
- Experience implementing RESTful web services in Java Scala Python or similar languages.
- Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to computer vision workflows or GenAI concepts.
- Familiarity with event streaming platforms (Kafka) and distributed storage formats (Parquet ORC).
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex technical challenges.
- Design develop and maintain high-performance scalable distributed systems using Scala and Python.
- Work with Kubernetes and AWS services (EKS EMR S3) to build deploy and operate services at scale.
- Develop and optimize algorithms for large-scale data storage retrieval and processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and deliver new features.
- Optimize and refactor existing applications for efficiency reliability and performance.
- Ensure quality through unit testing integration testing and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in both production and non-production environments.
