You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe UW Shared Services Student Assistant will work on a variety of tasks supporting UW Shared Services operations and office support.
Looking to fill multiple vacancies. Responsibilities could fall into any of the following categories:
Data Entry
Reviewing data in Workday and processing edits
Assisting departments with Excel spreadsheets
Triage and handling straightforward customer support
General office support
Handling /sorting mail (incoming and outgoing)
Updating process guides
Depending on knowledge and skill sets may assist with other activities as needed

$15.00/hour
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (required for all positions)
Customer Service background
Skilled in typing data entry
Attention to detail
Ability to plan and organize work
Ability to apply judgment and analysis to work performed
Dependable and reliable
Good communication skills
Ability to work within a team and independently
Work Hours:
Up to 10 25 hours per week during the school year and 25-40 hours per week for the summer.
Work will be completed on-site at 660 W Washington Avenue Madison WI during regular business hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm M-F.
Possibility of continuing over multiple years.
Expectations:
Student will report for work as scheduled be accurate in their work assignments and be a proactive member of the team.
