Emotional Literacy Support Assistant - What the Role Involves

  • Supporting the emotional and social development of children through structured interventions.
  • Working 1:1 or with small groups to build confidence resilience and communication skills.
  • Assisting teachers in promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitoring and tracking pupils progress in emotional literacy and wellbeing.
  • Collaborating with staff and parents to ensure consistent support.
  • Interviews to begin w/c 25th August 2025.

Emotional Literacy Support Assistant - What the School is Looking For
The ideal candidate will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK University with previous child-centred experience valued highly. Schools are seeking proactive compassionate and committed individuals who have strong communication skills and a genuine interest in supporting pupil wellbeing.
Please note applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.

Emotional Literacy Support Assistant - Salary and Contract Info

  • 444 per week pro rata to term time only
  • Contract: Full-time long-term (SeptemberJuly) term-time only
  • Potential for future teacher training or extended contracts following a successful placement
