Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in data integration production support and cross-technology troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in Oracle ETL tools shell scripting and application monitoring along with exposure to Java technologies.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design develop and support ETL processes for data integration transformation and loading.
Provide production support for ETL jobs APIs and related applications to ensure stability and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents performance issues and data quality concerns in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ETL workflows with applications built on Java technologies.
Monitor and manage ETL pipelines and applications using industry-standard application monitoring tools.
Document ETL processes support procedures and best practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Strong hands-on experience in Oracle ETL technologies (e.g. Oracle Data Integrator PL/SQL ETL scripts etc.).
Proven experience in production support for ETL pipelines and APIs.
Proficiency in shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of Java applications with exposure to production support.
Experience with application monitoring tools (e.g. AppDynamics Splunk Dynatrace or similar).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Experience with cloud-based ETL solutions (AWS Azure GCP).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of job scheduling tools (Control-M Autosys or equivalent).
Education Qualification: .
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
