Job Summary
Senior Performance Engineering - Vice President - QA Engineering
What youll do in the role:
-
Drive end-to-end performance engineering initiatives for large-scale business-critical applications.
-
Lead and mentor performance engineering teams fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
-
Engage directly with business stakeholders architects developers and SREs to architect scalable efficient and highly reliable systems.
-
Oversee the design and execution of sophisticated performance testing strategies workload models and realistic production scenarios.
-
Guide the automation of business transactions and performance validation across diverse platforms.
-
Champion the use of monitoring and APM tools (Splunk Grafana AppDynamics Dynatrace) to proactively identify analyze and resolve performance issues.

Perform advanced root cause analyses and implement best-in-class corrective/preventive actions.

Bring thought leadership in performance engineering framework/tool development and process optimization
-
Advocate for engineering best practices performance standards and innovative approaches to performance challenges.
What youll bring to the role:
-
Exceptional communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
-
Minimum 12 years progressive experience in performance engineering.
-
At least 6 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Demonstrated track record of delivering scalable high-performance solutions in complex environments.

Mastery with automation tools (Load Runner JMeter) and monitoring platforms (Splunk Grafana) including advanced query writing (LogQL PromQL).

Deep expertise in APM tools (AppDynamics Dynatrace) and end-to-end monitoring.
-
Strong scripting/automation skills in Linux/Unix environments.

Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java C Python) highly preferred.

Proven ability to drive innovation build frameworks and elevate team capabilities.

Engineering mindset with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Passion for mentoring knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
