Job Summary
Highway Motors established truck dealer in Virginia is looking to add an outside parts salesman to our team. We are a family owned and operated dealershipcovering a growing Virginia market. The primary responsibilityof an outside parts salespersonis to maintain and grow current customer accountsand solicit new business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use company CRM to analyze and maintain current and prospect customers
- Calls on customers regularly in person and on the phone
- Identifies new opportunities within the current customer base
- Seeks new business and maintains an active listof prospects
- Learns product via online training and in person classes
- Utilizes industry and factory sales representatives to educate customers on specific product lines
- Maintains a customer call log customer database and creates sales reports using a CRM platform
- Coordinate and communicate customer parts orders with inside sales team
- Work with truck sales department lease and rental department and service department as needed
- Maintain open line of communication with management
- Make parts deliveries and pick up cores as needed
- Maintain company supplied vehicle
- Present dealer programs and products as a tool to provide solutions to customer
- Championand promote the companies online ordering platform
Qualifications:
- 2-years of experience in truck equipment or automotive industry
- Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record
- Outstanding communication skills in person and over the phone
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to use Microsoft office products and have basic knowledge of computers
- High School Diploma or equivalent
