Job Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst is expected to provide advanced expertise on data analytics and business intelligence within the context of NPL Servicing business and across all of its aspects/dimensions. The successful candiadte is expected to work closely with both Business Intelligence and Enterprise Data Analytic Teams towards design and development of efficient and effective reporting tools services and solutions for the transformation of flat data into insightful business information in the forms of both granular and visual outputs (i.e. reports and dashboards) as well as any other appropriate mean as per business requirements. They are also expected to closely work together with D&A teams as well as with IT teams in order to ensure integrity accuracy and continuity of datasets processes and flows across end-to-end paths from data points origination and up until landing into Cepal Universe.
Main Accountabilities
- Collect clean and analyzes data from various sources to identify trends patterns and correlations.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards in tools like Power BI/Fabric Databricks Dashboards Atlan and similar platforms.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for BI solutions.
- Work with both business and functional lines stakeholders and other departments to understand their needs and deliver relevant insights and optimal as well as cost efficient solutions.
- Develop and maintain data models to support reporting and analysis.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to address specific business questions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for BI systems and processes.
Requirements
Education Experience and Technical Skills
- Bachelors degree in Statistics Economics or Mathematics
- Masters degree in Data & Analytics would be a strong asset
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst/Data Scientist/BI Analyst; previous experience in the finance and banking industry is highly preferable
- Experience with SQL and Python for querying and manipulating data as well as for customized advanced visualizations.
- Experience with data analysis techniques and tools
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI Databricks Dashboards or similar
- Understanding of business principles and how data can drive to informed decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
