Job Description
- Good understanding of how to test image and video quality characteristics in the field including Auto Exposure Auto Focus and White Balance.
- Excellent sense of photography videography and cinematography on both technical and artistic levels and understanding of what makes a good photograph or video.
- Understanding the Human Visual System and how it impacts our perception of photos and videos about the real-world Experience.
- Knowledge of some photography lab equipment and experience operating camera systems in a lab.
- Experience in Python or MATLAB for data analysis automation and image processing.
- Hands-on experience with objective and subjective image quality evaluation including color accuracy noise reduction HDR tone mapping and sharpness.
- Strong understanding of imaging systems including camera sensors optics image signal processors and computational photography techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate and work cross functionally
- M.S. or PH.D. in Imaging Color Vision Computer Optics Science or equivalent with 3 years of experience in a related field.
