Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to assist on a project for our client located in the Roseville area. The Logistics Coordinator will help manage logistics operations working within ERP systems and utilizing advanced computer skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily processes. This is an onsite contract role with potential for hire.
The qualified candidate will have two years of logistics or supply chain experience strong MS Excel skills and ERP system experience - NetSuite preferred. Excellent organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential to this role.
Pay Range: $22-$25/hour DOE
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and track shipments deliveries and logistics activities.
- Receive and unpack incoming shipments scanning and updating inventory.
- Maintain accurate records within ERP systems to ensure inventory and order accuracy.
- Work closely with internal teams vendors and carriers to resolve scheduling or shipping issues.
- Prepare and analyze logistics reports using Excel including pivot tables VLOOKUPs and data reconciliation.
- Handle return processes including assessing billing issues updating accounting systems or issuing refunds.
- Support continuous improvement of logistics processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of logistics supply chain shipping/receiving or inventory management experience.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain or related field preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP systems - NetSuite preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas pivot tables reporting).
- Strong computer and data-entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with freight shipping or distribution operations is preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
