We are hiring non-union Security Shift Supervisors to work at several commercial office building in the Chicago Loop. We have all shifts available must have flexibility in scheduling and be able to hold over 4 hours. ***MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE MANAGING A SECURITY TEAM IN A COMMERCIAL OFFICE BUILDING!***

Responsibilities of Security Supervisors include but are not limited to:

Supervise the day to day operations of an assigned Client site including working as a security officer if needed
Manage a team of security officers including participating in hiring scheduling payroll training and development coaching and discipline and support.
Ensure client and employee satisfaction through building effective relationships and proactive communications and management
Complete operational procedures including reviewing logs shift responsibilities patrol round information and reporting and update as needed
Handle escalated security issues or emergencies
Other duties as assigned.

*ONLY CANDIDATES WITH AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF CONTINUOUS SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED*

Required Qualifications of Security Supervisors:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
3 years of experience as a security officer or directly related position and at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) including state accredited training requirements.
Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Able to read write speak and understand English
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Able to meet physical essential functions of the job which can include lifting 50 lbs completing foot patrols walking up and down stairs working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Supervisors:
Bi-lingual considered a plus.

$19.50 - $21.50 / hour
