Aerospace Quality Assurance Supervisor

As a Quality Assurance Supervisor you will oversee quality inspection personnel and ensure that all products and processes meet internal customer and regulatory standards (e.g. AS9100 FAA DoD). You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement investigating non-conformances and supporting audit readiness. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership technical expertise and a hands-on approach to managing quality in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily activities of QA Inspectors technicians and quality support personnel.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards procedures and documentation across production and inspection processes.

• Monitor product quality through inspections testing and audits throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.

• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (RCA/CAPA) for internal and external non-conformances.

• Support internal and external audits (AS9100 customer FAA etc.).

• Collaborate with engineering production and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.

• Train mentor and coach QA team members to promote compliance and continuous improvement.

• Review and approve quality documentation including inspection reports non-conformance reports (NCRs) and calibration records.

• Assist in maintaining and improving Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures.

• Utilize quality metrics and data analysis to drive improvement and report performance trends.

Required Qualifications:

• Only US Citizens Green card holders political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.

• Degree in a technical discipline (engineering quality aerospace etc.) or equivalent work experience.

• 3 years of quality assurance experience in an aerospace or regulated industry.

• 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

• Experience with inspection techniques GD&T and use of precision measurement tools.

• Proficiency in MS Office and quality systems (e.g. QMS ERP SPC software).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong working knowledge of AS9100 ISO 9001 and aerospace quality standards preferred

• Six Sigma Green Belt or ASQ CQI CQA certifications preferred

• Familiar with regulatory compliance (FAA DoD ITAR) preferred

• Experience with PPAP FAI and APQP methodologies preferred
