As a Quality Assurance Supervisor you will oversee quality inspection personnel and ensure that all products and processes meet internal customer and regulatory standards (e.g. AS9100 FAA DoD). You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement investigating non-conformances and supporting audit readiness. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership technical expertise and a hands-on approach to managing quality in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily activities of QA Inspectors technicians and quality support personnel.
Ensure adherence to quality standards procedures and documentation across production and inspection processes.
Monitor product quality through inspections testing and audits throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (RCA/CAPA) for internal and external non-conformances.
Support internal and external audits (AS9100 customer FAA etc.).
Collaborate with engineering production and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
Train mentor and coach QA team members to promote compliance and continuous improvement.
Review and approve quality documentation including inspection reports non-conformance reports (NCRs) and calibration records.
Assist in maintaining and improving Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures.
Utilize quality metrics and data analysis to drive improvement and report performance trends.
Required Qualifications:
Only US Citizens Green card holders political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.
Degree in a technical discipline (engineering quality aerospace etc.) or equivalent work experience.
3 years of quality assurance experience in an aerospace or regulated industry.
3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Experience with inspection techniques GD&T and use of precision measurement tools.
Proficiency in MS Office and quality systems (e.g. QMS ERP SPC software).
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong working knowledge of AS9100 ISO 9001 and aerospace quality standards preferred
Six Sigma Green Belt or ASQ CQI CQA certifications preferred
Familiar with regulatory compliance (FAA DoD ITAR) preferred
Experience with PPAP FAI and APQP methodologies preferred
