Salary:
HK$32140 HK$37590 (HGPS point 12 - 15) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
cooks foreman and frontline staff in each designated kitchen areas e.g. food preparation cooking plating serving cleaning storing etc.
for patient and non-patient catering services.
3. To ensure all staff working up to the pre-determined standards of hygiene safety established principles and policies included in the quality assurance programmes such as ISO and/or HACCP.
designated checklist and procedures for quality assurance and quality control.
on job training and monitor catering staff.
for stock control ordering goods and goods receipt.
for repair and maintenance of utensils equipment and facilities.
with wards and other departments in any catering matters.
all human resources matters in the department including SDR orientation to new staff annual manpower review and planning.
staff duty and leave rosters.
any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
EntryRequirements:
1.
Certificate in Hotel Catering and Institutional Operations or equivalent; or Chef Apprenticeship; and
2.
With a minimum of 2 years bulk cooking experience.
Preferable Attributes / Exposure:
1. Good communication interpersonal and analytical skills.
2. Experience in cook-chill cold plating is preferable.
3. Experience and training in ISO22000 and HACCP are preferred.
4. Responsible self-motivated highly flexible and detail minded and able to work independently.
5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
7. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
