HR Advisor new permanent opportunity

Location: Cookstown (1 day per week in Belfast)

Hybrid work pattern (3 days office/2 days work from home)

Our Client is a well established award winning employer with an impressive brand portfolio and multiple sites. As a result of continued success they wish to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to support the HR activities at their Cookstown site.

The successful HR Advisor will be a key member of the established HR function providing expert advice on a wide range of HR matters including employee relations engagement performance management recruitment and company policies.

The Role:

  • Provide advice and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies procedures and best practices.
  • Manage employee relations issues conducting investigations and facilitating resolutions
  • Support the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to performance management development and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate HR records ensuring data confidentiality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to implement HR programs and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of HR training.
  • Ensure that all activities respect confidentiality at all times.

The Person:

  • CIPD qualified
  • 2-3 years experience in HR ideally within a fast paced manufacturing or production led environment.
  • Solid understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
  • Proven experience in handling employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strong IT skills particularly in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Flexible to travel across various sites and have access to your own transport.
