ROLE: Teaching Assistant (Pre-school/EYFS Phase with opportunities to develop skills to support across primary range) Must have relevant qualification to work in pre-school at level 3.

SALARY: PCC Band 3 24796 to 25201 FTE

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiasticTeaching Assistantto join our vibrant Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across our Nursery and Reception classes supporting childrens development through play exploration and structured learning.

JOB/PERSON SUMMARY:

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality early years education.
• Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Foster a safe inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with varying needs.
• Observe and record childrens progress contributing to assessments and reports.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

Were Looking for Someone Who:

• Has experience working with children in an Early Years setting (school or nursery).
• Holds a relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare or education. excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is patient caring and committed to supporting every childs potential.
• Works well as part of a team and shows initiative.
