We are looking for a full time Dental Assistant who will make our office located in Lutz FL more efficient and pleasant for patients. The Dental Assistant we select must have prior hands on dental assisting experience; Youll ensure excellent patient experience and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the Dentists shoulders. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible. The hours are :Monday 8am - 5pm Tuesday 8am -5pm Wednesday 12pm - 7pm Thursday 8am - 5pm Friday 8am - 2pm Salary range is $18.00-24.00.

Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms sterilize instruments and assist dentists during procedures.
- Patient Care: Welcome comfort and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays assist with impressions and maintain study models.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols maintain patient confidentiality and follow workplace regulations..
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
- Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification emergency drug and oxygen supply and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
or
- Six months on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
- X-Ray certification
- Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
- High school diploma or equivalent
Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA HIPAA CPR and infection control training as required by law.
