Job Summary

Pay:$23.00 to $25.00 (Depending on Education & Related Experience)
Sign-on Bonus for Eligible OMH Community Residence Positions
Full time positions are now eligible for a $2000 sign-on bonus $500 every 3 months for one year. Part time positions are now eligible for a $1000 sign-on bonus $250 every 3 months for one year. New hires rehires and transfers are eligible for this sign-on bonus. (ELIGIBLE POSITIONS: Supervising Senior Counselor Senior Counselor Counselor Senior Counselor/Family Support Specialist Recreation Specialist)

Nature of Work:
This position is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the program youths recreational programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a human services related field is required.
- A degree in Therapeutic Recreation and Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) credential strongly preferred.
- Requires a valid drivers license that meets insurability guidelines to operate agency-owned vehicles.
- Must meet the requirements of the School Age Care Day Care and/or Mental Health Regulations regarding a State Central Register Clearance regarding history of abuse/maltreatment of children and Criminal History Review for criminal convictions.
