POSITION SUMMARY Advanced Sales Intern
The Kingland Sales Intern fulfills roles throughout the Kingland sales process by taking on responsibility for tasks related to prospect identification and research market research and sales outreach to prospects at discretion of the Sales Manager.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Advanced Sales Intern
- Works closely with the sales team members on target market research prospect identification and contact research under supervision of sales team
- Sales support activities such as developing sales presentations or proposals to clearly communicate the value of our solutions
- Identify contacts from target market firms to assist sales on outreach to those contacts
- Drive Lead Generation through outbound sales methods (e.g. cold calling emailing etc.)
- May work cross functionally with Kingland team members to assist with lead generation though marketing campaign planning
POSITION REQUIREMENTS Advanced Sales Intern
- Currently enrolled in a four-year institution Business major or related field
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of applications most specifically PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong communication skills including comfort and confidence with public speaking
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to handle a dynamic work environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to changing work demands
- General knowledge of sales tactics and methods.
- A career desire to pursue sales specifically business to business selling
LOCATION
- This position will be onsite in one of Kinglands modern office locations in Ames Iowa or Clear Lake Iowa
