Summary:
Key Technology has a fantastic opportunity in our Redmond OR facility! We are looking for a Fabricator tocreate or prepare parts for other work areas by operating machines such as a cut-off saws shears rollers drill presses and CNC and punching equipment and hand tools such as grinders bevel mills sanders and this position you willensures safety is the top priority while performing any part of your job.
Essential Skills and Responsibilities:
We are looking for the following essential skills and requirements:
- Read and comprehend basic blueprints
- Safely operate hand tools (grinders bevel mills drills etc.)
- Able to obtain needed information from print repository and MRP programs
- Obtain and maintain fork lift certification
- Independent operator of at least 2 fabrication machines (excluding lasers and press brakes)
- Read and comprehend blueprints.
Ideal candidateswill have aHigh school diploma or equivalent andone year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience using blue prints and tape measures and fabrication machines.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate. The employee is frequently required to stand sit kneel crawl and employee occasionally works at heights and is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include closevision and color vision. The work environment includes noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
